Background for Crested Gecko tank

While waiting for my aquarium to finish rinsing, I decided I had so much foam insulation, cement, and about a tube and a half of silicone left, I'd try making something for my crested gecko's tank as well. After thinking about it for a while, I decided, some sort of large tree would be the best. I thought a hybrid of horizontal and vertical stacking would work best for this build.

At this point I'm just getting the rough shape done. Once the silicone dries, I'll be rounding the trunk and base and adding branches for the gecko to climb on.

Looking forward to seeing how this comes along! Is a small pool a part of the plan?

I'm thinking of putting a small dish to surround it. Crested Geckos can't swim so I'm thinking it'll be like a shallow water dish more than a small pool.
